In fact Arthur was born Albert Arthur Burnell in March / April 1874 at 4 Union Street, Lough-borough in the County of Leicestershire, the son of William a Frame-work-knitter & Rural Postman, and his wife Sarah. He joined the 4th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment, unknown dates. |
