Arthur Albert Burnell According to his army records Arthur was born in the Parish of Trinity near Coventry in the County of Warwickshire, according to other records he was born at Clara in Ireland.
In fact Arthur was born Albert Arthur Burnell in March / April 1874 at 4 Union Street, Lough-borough in the County of Leicestershire, the son of William a Frame-work-knitter & Rural Postman, and his wife Sarah. He joined the 4th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment, unknown dates.
