Maisie Ellaline Crawley born in 1904 at Leamington Spa in the County of Warwickshire and baptised the 4th August 1907 at St Mark's, Leamington Spa, the daughter of Harry Charles a tailor's cutter, of 10 Church Hill, and Charlotte Elizabeth.

Maisie married George Henry Morris a salesman in 1923, at Leamington, and had three children a son and two daughter. Sometime in 1934 she met and fell in love with Frank Goodwin, Maisie left her husband in March 1935. Frank Goodwin aged 38 an ex-policeman of Leicester left the force on the 12th October 1937, after 14 years' service, leaving his wife at the same time. On the 30th December 1937, Mrs Goodwin travelled to London and tried to persude her husband to return. He refused and on Monday the 10th January 1938, Maisie and Frank committed suicide. |
